Communists - The Nazis blamed them for the fire in the Reistag and arrested many for concentration & death camps.
Social democrats and other parties were arrested, tortured, sent to concentration camps.
Trade unions were closed down as these were likely to try and increase wages.
Any political resistance was arrested
