GCSE Geography> Economic development> Britain's changing employment
There has been a decrease in primary employment:
Primary jobs have been taken over by industry so their are less jobs for humans.
More developed countries have found it is cheaper to import goods from poorer countries than make them themselves.

Manual jobs are the same as primary jobs; They have decreased.

Non manual jobs are from the tertiary industry such as office workers and people in health or education.
These jobs in the tertiary industry have increased in Britain as there is a better health service and technology has increased bringing more office jobs.

Male workers in Britain have decreased as their traditional jobs such as farming, mining etc have reduced.
