GCSE French> Vocabulary> Avoir
PRESENT TENSE OF AVOIR - to have

  • J'ai - I have
  • Tu as - you have
  • Il a - he has
  • Nous avons - we have
  • Vous avez - you have
  • Ils ont - they have

REVISION TIP: The verb AVOIR is very important in French, both for use in the present tense and in the formation of the perfect tense. It is worth learning now as it will be a lot easier to learn the perfect tense if you already have this foundation.
