GCSE Food tech> Specific foods> Wheat
Main use of wheat is to be ground into flour.

The outside part of wheat is called the bran - good source of fibre.

The endosperm is what makes the flour.

The germ - good source of protein - is where the seed sprouts.

There are many different types of flour which are all made from different parts of the wheat.
