GCSE Biology> Human Biology> Enzymes
Enzymes have much the same job as catalysts.

They speed up biological reactions and like enzymes they are not used up in the process.

They are specific to a certain kind of reaction.

They work harder the higher the temperature but have a cut off point like catalysts.

Because enzymes are specific, different ones work best at different pHs.
